Today we’re gonna do some meditation; just sit comfortably with your back straight and your feet on the floor just start to focus on your breathing breathing in and then out you can count in; 1, 2 out 1, 2 breaths as long as you like whatever feels natural just focus on your breathing you will get distracted you may hear sounds,
noises just come back to your breathing that’s all you need to do come back to your breath, focus on the in and the out imagine you’re in your house and you’re
watching cars drive by the window on the road outside imagine that they’re thoughts, just allow
them to pass by,they come they go you don’t need to follow each thought, you don’t need to run
after those cars. Let it go just notice the thought and let it go it’s okay to get distracted that’s fine. Just come back to your breathing it may take a few attempts for you to
get used to meditation but don’t feel frustrated just focus on your breathing don’t worry about getting distracted don’t worry about sounds coming from
next door or outside your window you don’t need to be in complete silence to
do meditation; the sounds are fine just allow those sounds to be, notice them and allow them
and then go back to your breathing notice any bodily sensations you feel in your hands or your feet, your legs. That’s all you ever need to focus on there’s no ultimate goal you’re not going to start levitating
it’s simple you just focus on your breathing and if you’re doing that then
you’re doing very well breathing in and breathing out Allowing sounds, sensations, thoughts to come and go; you
don’t need to focus on them just turn to you breathing So just relax, ensuring that your feet stay flat
to ground you. Make sure your back stays straight. Relax your hands, your arms, your shoulders. just
return to your breath there’s nothing you need to do just return to your breath Now you’re gonna hear some relaxing music start So just continue to focus on your breathing just returning to
breathing again and again
