Should we intercede for others in our prayer ? Mee Adubutha Samayam | Bro. Mohan C.Lazarus

Jesus Redeems Ministries! It is a ministry chosen by God
to stand in the gap and pray for the Nation. The Standing in the gap prayer
that was started by GOD in 1980 Has been continuing without
any obstacles so far! More than 40,000 people gather here every last
Saturday of each month and they pray for the Nation. According to that verse, “After Job had prayed for his friends,
the LORD Restored his fortunes.” God is performing miracles in the life
of those who came to pray for the Nation. Now, we present you the word of God
delivered by Brother. Mohan C Lazarus. Matthew 7:7, Matthew 7:7, Today, we are going to meditate this verse alone. That one verse will bring a great
transformation and blessings in your life. A graceful word which came
from the mouth of Jesus! “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find;
knock and the door will be opened to you.” Jesus says 3 things in this one verse. Ask, seek, knock! When you ask, it will be given to you. When you seek, you will find. When you knock,
the door will be opened to you. These three things are said
by Jesus about prayer. About praying to God, These are those words that God told. God says these things
when they were talking about prayer. So, in these gracious words that
came out of Jesus’s mouth, What all blessings does these 3 things indicates? What goodness does it indicate,
so that we may get it in our life? We are going to meditate
about it for some time. What do Jesus say in this verse? Firstly, Ask, it will be given to you! Seek, you will find! Knock, doors will be opened! If you knock, it will be opened! This is also a prayer! Asking is a kind of prayer, Seeking is also a prayer, We seek God when we pray, We seek His face. In Daniel 9:3, Daniel says, I turned to the LORD God and pleaded with him
in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes. To seek his face, Daniel waited. Fast and wait, Seek Him! Thirdly,
“Knock and the doors will be opened to you!” What does it indicate? Knock! Knocking the doors of heaven! Why should we knock? Jesus says an incident. An incident about prayer. When we read Luke 11:5-9, When God keeps telling about prayer, He shares this incident. While a man was sleeping at night in his home, In mid-night, A friend comes to his house. His close friend. He has travelled a long distance and
reaches starving and tired. As soon as he saw him, He welcomed him happily, Come and sit, Why have you come in this mid-night? I’am travelling from so long, It got late, so I came here. Did you eat?
– No, I didn’t. I’m hungry. I don’t have anything in my home too. I am done with everything. I have nothing. But you are starving. What can we do? He didn’t say,
‘Sleep, let’s see tomorrow.’ He goes to his neighbour who is his friend. This man goes to another friend’s house for his friend. He goes and knocks at the door at the midnight. What’s the matter? It’s me! Your friend! Dude, why are you knocking
at the doors in the midnight? A friend of mine has come. He is hungry, Can I borrow 3 loaves from you?
I’ll give it back, He is hungry, he needs it. He knocks at another friend’s door for his friend. He says, My children and I have slept, I can’t get up and come. Why do you knock
at my doors in the midnight? We have slept. My children are sleeping. I also slept. If I get up now,
it will be a disturbance to everyone. He says, I can’t! Even though he says that he can’t, Since he persisted for his friend, Jesus says, Because of the man’s persistence, I’ll fulfil his hunger
if you give me 3 loaves, Since he persisted, Won’t he give his friend
those loaves amidst his difficulty? Jesus says this parable. Likewise, in prayer, Knocking! For whom? Knocking the doors of heaven for others. Knocking God in His presence for others! Interceding! That’s what God says, Knock, it will be opened to you! LORD, a friend of mine is stuck in sin, He must be saved. LORD, my neighbour is struggling financially. You should do a miracle to them. My neighbour’s baby is in death bed, Been admitted in the Hospital, Heal that child. Knocking at the doors of heaven for others. If you knock, it will be opened! You should not selfishly pray for yourself alone. For the neighbours near your house, Neighbours in the Opposite house, For those who are in your streets, Those who work with you, Those who do business with you, When their family gets affected, When they face struggles, When they undergo a distress, You should knock God’s doors for them! LORD, my neighbour is affected. Help him! I’ll pray for him! I knock at the doors for them! My neighbour is in such distress, You should do a miracle!
as you did to me Knocking at the doors saying that,
“LORD, You did to me, You should do to them also!” How long are we gonna pray
selfishly for ourselves? Are you going to God’s presence for others? Are you knocking at God’s doors for others? Think about it! A Muslim brother was affected with cancer. He underwent treatments in a Hospital, His conditions become critical, As the doctors found that it’s hard to save him, They sent him back. That’s all! Cancer has spread, We can do nothing. One of his friends helped him
with his check-ups. He is a doctor as well, He knew that his friend will die and
he will be alive for some days only. So he said, ‘Don’t go anywhere, be in my hospital
and I will take care of you.’ He allotted a room, He got him food, He is dying slowly. He will die in few days. That cancer disease is eroding him. And his death is getting closer. He realized that he is going to die, His take care so well.
So, he stayed there. One day, an old woman came with a Bible in her hand. She goes to hospitals,
meets the sick and pray for them. That was her ministry. She was doing it as a ministry. Whoever suffering, She goes to that hospital, She enquires about them and pray for them. She came to that hospital. That weak old mother came to
that hospital with a Bible in her hand. On seeing this brother lying in the bed, She asked, ‘Can I come in dear?’ Yes, he replied. She went in. What happened to you? Why are you lying here? She asked. He replied, I’m gonna die. I have cancer. I’ll be alive for few days only. Since, he is my friend,
he is taking care of me. This old woman had a great sorrow. She asked, shall I pray to Jesus Christ for you? An old woman, She enquires about me with care
and love even when no one visited me, No one cared about me, This old woman says that she will pray for me, Thinking these, he told her to pray. What should I do? He asked. Close your eyes, I’ll pray to Jesus, she replied. He said, ‘Ok grandma!’
and he closed his eyes. This old woman goes near the bed,
with the Bible in her hands, prays. Suddenly, he felt water drops falling in his hands. He immediately opened his eyes and saw, Tears rolling down from that old woman’s eyes. She weeps and prays for him. As soon as those tears fell on his body, He felt a power charged into him. Why does she cry for me? What do I have with her? She is not my family member. She is not my relative. I have never seen her before. Why should she come and cry for me? As he was thinking that, If this woman who believes in Jesus is such loving, How loving that Jesus would be! As he was thinking that, he was touched! A miraculous healing! The cancer disappeared! A tearful prayer of an old woman
made the cancer to disappear! He got saved and he became a servant of God! That old woman was someone who
knocks the heaven’s doors for others. Someone who knocks the heaven’s doors for others. Have you ever interceded for others and pray? Will you pray for yourself selfishly all the time? When you pray for others, God’s heart rejoices! Even though that friend says,
my children and I have slept already, It’s hard to get up, You are interceding to me for others. You haven’t come to get loaves for yourself, You have come for your friend! I will do for you! Jesus will see! You are not asking for yourself, You are asking for others, dear daughter! I will do! You are asking for others with a burden, I will do! I remember one thing. Almost 30 years back, Must be around 30-35 years back, In the beginning of my ministry, There was a meeting in Nazareth. There was a man of God called,
Mr. Lazaru David in Pragasapuram. He received salvation being born in a Hindu family. So, he has a burden that the Hindus
must be saved and to take the Gospel to them. I was called and used in Churches first. He was the one who called me
to preach among general audience in a ground. That meeting was held in the ground
that was infront of Nazareth railway station. Mr. Lazaru David has arranged it. After the meeting, I stayed in his house only. His house is in Pragasapuram main road. We came back home after the meeting, After dinner, there was a young girl. She walked like a lame. I enquired about her. I called her and enquired. She said, I belong to the nearest village. There are no enough facilities
to go back after the meeting. I invited several people to this meeting, I had to walk some miles to reach here. But, no one came. I limped and reached thinking that
I should somehow attend the meeting. Why do you limp? What happened? I asked. Just above the feet there was a huge lump. It was terrible to see itself. It caused so much pain. She couldn’t walk. She is suffering. It’s been troubling her for months itseems. I came thinking that,
will not I get a healing somehow. There is no bus now, I’ll go back in the morning. I spoke with her and went to my room to sleep. That brother said, since she is a young girl I’ll make her stay here today and
will send her in the morning safely. I laid down in the bed, I’m not getting sleep. I had a disturbance in my spirit. That sister, Her leg, The lump on her leg, Her pain, It affected me. So, I Got up and knelt down near the bed Resting my hands on the cot and prayed. When I prayed, I got tears. I felt pity for that sister. She belonged to a poor family. She came walking with her affected legs
for so many miles in search of you Jesus! What a great pain does that lump gives! She can’t even walk. She came seeking for you! Heal her! I kept crying! I kept crying for so long! I wept and prayed Then slept kneeling down. As I woke in the morning, I came out of the room after reading the Bible. I asked to that brother about that sister. He said, she left in the early morning itself. That prayer and the tears I shed, That brought a curiosity about what happened to her?! After a week, I went for a marriage
in that particular village she said. For a wedding ceremony. On hearing my coming, she came running to me. Brother, I heard that you have come.
That’s why I came to see you, she said. I asked, how are you sister? I came to that meeting and left in the morning, See, that lump has disappeared! I’m completely healed! I’m alright now! I attended that meeting and came back! I’m completely healed! See, I’m walking well brother! Said she. I got happy tears! How good my Jesus is! He carefully listens to
the small prayer we do and does miracle! Your heart should agonize for others! When you see someone suffering, You should knock at the heavenly doors of GOD! LORD, do a miracle to them! You did so much to me! These are my neighbours, Do a miracle to them! He is a Hindu, a Muslim, They don’t know much about you. I ask on their behalf!
Do a miracle to them! Save this child! Give a deliverance! You should knock the heavenly doors for others! Look at my nation O LORD! How many souls are being destroyed! All of them must be saved! Everyone must become your children! They are destroying because
of their sins and curses! You should knock at the door! That is what God says, Knock, it will be opened to you! Say, LORD I knock at your door
for my people of Tamil Nadu! LORD, I knock at your door
so that these youths may get saved! How many souls are being destroyed?! Knock at the door! Knock more hardly! God will hear that noise! LORD my people should be saved! My village has to saved! My town has to be saved! My people has to be saved! Knock at the doors saying that! That is what God is teaching us! Pray for all people! Don’t pray selfishly just for yourselves. Do you know how I learnt to pray? In the early days after receiving salvation, I was in Chennai in a compound with 6 houses. 5 of them were Hindus. Only one Christian family. When I accepted LORD, I alone use to go to church. A teacher’s family who comes
to this church was there in that compound. That teacher, her husband and her 3 children. They lived there. There are the only Christian family
among those 6 families. At 8pm, they use to do family prayer. Sharply at 8pm, their children start singing, The husband goes to business, But these children sing and pray. I told my mom. Everyone were Hindus in my family. I alone have accepted Jesus. I asked my mom to permit me
to go and pray with them. She said, Ok! Every day I use to wait for that 8pm. I use to go to their house. I sit with those children and sing. That’s when I learnt many traditional songs. They sing in that house. I, your servant will rest beneath the cross! I learnt that song there. They use to sing such songs. As they sing, I sang with them. They pray as a family. When they pray, I carefully listened to
what all they prayer for and got amazed! Do you what all they pray for? LORD, many people will be travelling
by train in this night time, Protect those who are travelling, Protect them from accidents. Many use to travel by bus in this night time, Protect those thousands of people from accidents. They pray like that. LORD, many people will be suffering in the Hospitals. They should not die. Heal them. They pray like that. In 1972! I learnt from them about what all to pray for. How many Christians are praying like that? How many Christians are praying
with a burden for others? God says, “Knock!” A prayer for others! You can pray for those who are near you. You can say the name of
the people who live in your streets. You can pray for those who live in your village. When someone is suffering with a disease, You go and knock standing in Knees. LORD heal them! I’ll pray LORD! Give them a healing! Knock! Pray for others! Jesus taught that! Beloved, In Matthew 7:7 God says, Ask, it will be given to you! Knock, it will be opened to you! We should knock! Why? Knocking God’s door for others! LORD, my relative hasn’t received the salvation yet. Give them salvation! My friend is sick, deliver him! Do a miracle to them! Knocking doors for others! Knocking until we receive it! Now, we are going to pray. For your colleagues, Your classmates, Relatives, They haven’t received the salvation yet, They are diseased, They undergo certain problem, Pray for them! God will do a miracle! When a miracle happens to them, They will know Jesus! There are such people you know
who are like that, right? Will you pray for them? Will you knock the doors at God? I’ll also pray with you! Let’s pray! Father, You told us that
‘Knock, it will be opened to you.’ Here these children are praying for their friends, relatives,
well-wishers, neighbours, classmates, colleagues. LORD do a miracle to them also! Change their sickness O LORD! Deliver them from sins! Give them salvation! Do miracles and give peace to them also! Your children are praying like that, Whoever your children are praying for, Miracles must happen in their life! I’m also knocking at your doors along with them! You must do a miracle and make them glad! They are praying for someone
who is admitted in the hospital. They are thriving for life O LORD! Give them a miraculous healing! Give them a deliverance! Deliver them from death traps and bless them! Help my friends those who are in danger! Help this relative! In such a way the people
who pray like that see a miracle, Deliver them and heal them! You are listening this prayer! People around us should live well and blessed! They should be happy! For that we pray in Jesus name! You have heard the prayers
that we did for others! Since they are praying for others, Let a miracle happen in their life! When Job prayed for his friends, You changed his captivity! Let their captivity be changed! Let a joy and happiness come! Let a miracle happen today! In Jesus name we pray, Father! Amen! Amen!
